Privacy policy
Simplified Orthodontics Studio is made by Simplified Orthodontics Academy. It contains three tools: Simplified Ceph, Simplified Cast and Simplified Practice. This policy explains what happens to the information you use in the app, on the website and in the Android app.
- We do not collect, receive or store the information you enter.
- Patient details, radiographs, photos, 3D models, measurements and reports stay on your device.
- There are no accounts, no advertising and no tracking in the app.
What the app saves, and where
Each tool saves your work in the browser storage of the device you are using. Simplified Ceph keeps your current tracing and patient details. Simplified Cast keeps your current session. Simplified Practice keeps patient records, visits, fees and the files you attach to them.
Files you open, such as radiographs, photos and STL, PLY or OBJ models, are read on your device. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else.
Files you export
When you export a CSV, JSON, image, report or backup file, it is saved where you choose. After that, the file is under your control.
Other services
Simplified Practice can open WhatsApp when you tap a patient's WhatsApp link. WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to anything you do there.
Website hosting
The app is delivered from our website, which is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the technical details needed to deliver pages, such as IP address, browser type and request time, under its own privacy policy. We do not use these details to identify you.
Your responsibilities as a clinician
If you enter information about patients, you are responsible for obtaining their consent, for following the data protection laws that apply to you, such as Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law and Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law, for keeping your device secure, and for making backups. We cannot see or recover your data.
Deleting your data
You can delete records inside Simplified Practice and clear a session inside each tool. To remove everything, clear the stored data for this website in your browser settings. Uninstalling the Android app may not remove data that the browser has stored.
Children
The app is intended for dental professionals and students. It is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
